"This is quite an autobiographical one about being the least cool and the most overweight teenager growing up in the 1980s, and references my kind of hybrid- semi-Jewish upbringing, and the huge impact my first guitar teacher had on me and how although I only knew them for a while, some people you meet in life help shape you. So this song is for Jenny, wherever you are…Jenny was going through a transition process about which I had no understanding as a child at all, but I can only imagine how hard that must have been in those less enlightened times."
